Is making your home more energy efficient the best thing you could do for the planet? That’s up for debate – there are lots of steps you can take, and we’re not going to cover them here – there are plenty of other brilliant organisations to help you with that.
No-one else is going to focus on making your home play it’s part in a greener future though, are they? And besides, it’s you who it impacts the most, and you who can make the difference! (Although there are plenty of others who can support you).
Our founder Paul knows a fair bit about energy efficiency improvements, with his first Bristol home featuring in the inaugural ‘Bristol Green Doors‘ open home event. He’s now spent more than 20 years making homes more energy efficient, and is a member of the Green Mortgage Advice Initiative.
It can be confusing to know where to start though, and also to work out whether the savings you make will outweigh the costs. That’s where GreenVal comes in.
